TDS Board

Welcome to the TDS Board of Directors information page.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and per the By-Laws of TDS, our Board of Directors works with the Director in helping the school run smoothly.  The school director runs the day-to-day operations of the school. The Board acts in an advisory capacity as needed, for policy making purposes and to support the Director and staff.

The Board, in conjunction with the Director, approves the school budget, which includes setting tuition. One of their most important roles is fundraising.  Traditionally, between 5-10% of the school operating budget is funded by different events we hold during the year, and the Board organizes and runs these events.  Each year the list of events changes, although there are some perennial favorites.  Board meetings are held throughout the year and any parent of a TDS student may apply to join the Board.

TDS is a wonderful community with exceptional and experienced teachers.  The kind of education and individual attention our students have truly is incredible.  We hope many parents will consider joining the Board, or participating in our community in any way you can.  The best contribution is spreading the word as increasing enrollment is the best fundraising of all!
